In January 2019 the there are three employees, who have lost their lives in a fatal accident in Denmark. These are terrible tragic accidents. Therefore, it is important to spread information about these accidents. In that way as many as possible, can learn from them.
Foreign employees also lose their lives in accidents at work in Denmark. One of the employees who lost live in January 2019 the was a Polish employee. In 2018, two Lithuanian, one Polish and one Russian employee lost their lives in accidents at work in Denmark.

Fatal accident on 26. January 2019
A 29-year-old Danish employee has died in connection with the transport of a 1.8 tons concrete block. The concrete brick was lifted with one strap and slipped out of the strap and Feld down upon the employee. An injunction has been issued to the company. In accordance with established practice, the accident is assessed regarding criminal liability under Danish law.

A 37-year-old Polish employee has died when working with cutting down trees. The deceased was hit by a tree. Two injunctions have been issued to the company. In accordance with established practice, the accident is assessed regarding criminal liability under Danish law.
Fatal accident on 8. January 2019
A 34-year-old self-employed Danish farmer has died when working with a mini excavator. The investigation of the accident by the Labour Inspectorate has been completed.
